Acts 2:38
Our Lord was the best example of our need to be baptized in water. When John baptized Jesus in the Jordan River, God spoke from Heaven and said: 'THIS IS MY BELOVED SON IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED'. The Holy Spirit appeared in the form of a dove. We are to be baptized into Jesus in the Name of The Father, Son and Holy Ghost. It is a witness to the world that we have been saved and a testimony of our subjection and obedience to God. We are to present ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.
