Hebrews 9:27 The devil came to steal, kill and destroy, but JESUS CAME THAT WE MAY HAVE LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY. The Christian lives for That moment - to be absent from the body and present with THE LORD (in Heaven).

1 Kings 20:40 While individuals and families have suffered the heartbreaking consequences of sin, the Atoning work of Christ on the Cross has made provision for us to be restored to the Father. Not only has He provided for salvation, but He has also made provision for our daily needs.

Numbers 20:21 Don't let fear or selfishness cause you to refuse to help others on their journey through this life. And don’t let satan, other people, or anything else influence you to refuse to invite Jesus into your life when He is passing by, for He may not come your way again.

Acts 24:25 Felix was a very unrighteous Judge who called Paul from his jail cell in hopes Paul would pay him money to get out of jail. Paul spoke of Judgment to come and of the White Throne records when the secret deeds of man would be made public. Felix came under such conviction that he trembled. He told Paul to go back to his cell and he would call him when it was a more convenient time to repent. The time never came. Your destiny depends on saying 'YES' to Jesus when He calls you to repent of your sin.

Mark 11:12-14 Lord grant us the true gifts of the Spirit so our lives can count for God and benefit others.

James 3:8 Only God is able to tame man's tongue by the regeneration of the heart and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. He will purify the fountain of Life enabling man to speak the truth in Love.

Isaiah 51 & Isaiah 52:1-12 This is a glimpse of the exodus from Babylon, which was prophesied before it ever happened. It covers the Exodus from Egypt and I believe it describes the Rapture of the church.

Ecclesiastes 6:3 Our bodies are the temple of the Living God and we are not our own after we are saved. If we defile the body we are in trouble with God for we are HIS. He is in us and we are in HIM. Burial symbolizes the planting of a seed. As we are planted together in the likeness of Christ’s death, we shall be also in the likeness of His Resurrection.

Isaiah Isaiah is considered the greatest of the prophets in the Bible, was quoted the most by writers of the New Testament, and told more about the Coming of the Messiah than any other prophet.  This sermon talks about his character, his message, and the times in which he lived. 

Genesis 30:24 This brilliantly-done teaching provides an in-depth study of the life of Joseph — the favorite son of Jacob and Rachel — who is a shadow and fore type of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Joseph was falsely accused, put into prison, and ultimately raised up to the rule over all of Egypt.  This is a picture of Christ Who came to earth as the Suffering Servant, Who died for the sins of mankind, and one day will return as the reigning Messiah.  

Isaiah 1:2, 4, 7 God had chosen Israel to be His Covenant People, but their rebellion resulted in Him mercifully sending the prophet Isaiah to warn them of impending judgment.   As then, so it is today: God’s willingness to pardon puts the blame of judgment upon us.

1 Samuel 15:17 The life of King Saul illustrates how self-sufficiency will always lead to failure and sorrow. Saul’s downward decline was tragic, given that he began with the best of human qualities. This is a lesson God wants all of us to learn.

1 Kings 17 The contest between Jehovah God and the false prophets of Baal on Mt. Carmel was one of many that have occurred throughout the Ages where God has clearly shown He is God to an unbelieving world. Today He calls to those straddling the fence to trust Him as the One, True God while there is still time.

The Lord is our Shepherd and we shall not want for Righteousness, Knowledge, Restoration, Comfort, Provision, Spiritual or natural food. While we feast at The Lord’s table, our adversaries are fussing and fuming while He is anointing our heads with oil. His Goodness and Mercy follow us all the days of our lives and we shall live in the house of The Lord forever.
